How we work
You apply, we match, you contribute, and the result becomes visible through Stories and reusable Library knowledge. The platform improves because people share what actually worked.
Do I need professional experience?
Not necessarily. We value passion, reliability, and willingness to learn. Some technical roles need specific skills, but many positions - like community moderation, translation, or event coordination - welcome beginners with guidance.
How much time do I need to commit?
It varies by role, from 2 hours to 12 hours per week. Each position card shows the expected commitment. We understand life changes - flexibility is part of our culture.
Is this fully remote?
Yes. WindSeeker is a global project and all roles can be done remotely. Some Regional Coordinator roles may involve local meetups, but only if you want to.
What do I get in return?
Real experience in social innovation, a certificate of contribution, a global network of like-minded people, and the knowledge that your skills helped someone experience what they couldn't. Some roles may qualify for university credit through our academic partnerships.
Can I apply for multiple positions?
Absolutely. If you have diverse skills, we'd love to know. Submit one application and mention your interest in multiple areas.
I represent an NGO / university. How can we collaborate?
We'd love to hear from you. Reach out through the Partnership Coordinator application or contact us directly at volunteers@windseeker.org.
Every person who joins WindSeeker becomes part of a story bigger than themselves. The wind is waiting.
