Privacy and data protection
- GDPR alignment: Personal data is processed, stored, and retained in line with applicable law. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability where applicable.
- Minimal sensitive data: We avoid storing sensitive data whenever possible. Data such as location is treated as temporary and may be deleted after the relevant use.
- Use of data: Your information is used only for the purposes of the platform (matching requests, communications, safety, and improving the service). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Privacy settings: You can manage your profile and preferences. You may request account deletion; we will process it in line with our retention policy.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure sessions, and access controls. We keep our systems updated to follow current security practice.
Anonymity
You may post requests anonymously where the product allows. Anonymous posting is supported in the database and access rules (RLS). End-to-end encryption for anonymous users may be considered in future.
Acceptable use
You must use the platform in line with our ethical principles and the law. You may not harass others, post illegal or harmful content, or misuse the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
